Acid Rain Client 0.5.0 is available for download.
Finally, after solving some problems Version 0.5.0 reaches stability.
As stated in the previous post, the main new feature is the inclusion of communications between the client and an Acid Rain server, which lets you send links to files within your public folder. It is allowed to send the link via email or copy it to paste elsewhere later.
This feature is conditioned to the use of an Acid Rain Server because it includes Mercurial plus a number of additional methods to communicate with. So, if you use an ordinary Mercurial
account you won't see this option.

Acid Rain Server is a Linux distribution based on Open Suse 11.3. Its goal is to provide an easy way to create your own server allowing to synchronize all your computers.
After installing you can configure your client pointing to http://yourserver/hg/MyRain Additionally, you can manage your server using WebYast.
