Acid Rain Client 0.5

Acid Rain Client 0.5.0 is available for download.

Finally, after solving some problems Version 0.5.0 reaches stability.

As stated in the previous post, the main new feature is the inclusion of communications between the client and an Acid Rain server, which lets you send links to files within your public folder. It is allowed to send the link via email or copy it to paste elsewhere later.

This feature is conditioned to the use of an Acid Rain Server because it includes Mercurial plus a number of additional methods to communicate with. So, if  you use an ordinary Mercurial
account  you won't see this option.

Work in progress

After releasing the ISO with the server, I thought of having the client version available in a couple of weeks, but sometimes things get complicated.

Because of this,  a preview version of Acid Rain Client 0.5.0 for Windows and some Linux distros can be found in downloads section.

Acid Rain 0.3.5

Version 0.3.5 of Acid Rain is now available.

Acid Rain 0.3.0

Version 0.3.0 of Acid Rain is available now

The main new feature is the built in file browser with capacity to overlay icons to display the synchronization status of documents visually and quickly.
